The Satanic Temple System Portal · Last updated: September 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how The Satanic Temple (“TST,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects and uses information when you use The Satanic Temple System Portal at devilops.org and related applications (the “Service”). Privacy is not an afterthought here. We treat confidentiality of member and operational data as a core duty of the organization. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

devilops.org is operated by The Satanic Temple. It is an internal and member-facing operations portal used to authenticate users and provide access to TST tools and programs. Questions about this policy may be sent to [email protected].

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and identity data you or TST staff provide, such as name, email address, and organizational role.
  • Authentication data when you sign in with a third-party provider (for example Google or Discord), including identifiers and profile details those providers share with us.
  • Usage data such as pages visited, features used, timestamps, and approximate technical information (browser type, device, IP address).
  • Communications you send through the Service, including support requests and form submissions.
  • Cookies and similar technologies needed for login sessions, security, and basic site operation.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and maintain accounts and verify that you are authorized to use the Service
  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Communicate with you about access, security, and service-related notices
  • Protect the Service and detect unauthorized access or abuse
  • Analyze aggregate usage so we can improve reliability and usability

Information is used only inside The Satanic Temple for these purposes. We do not sell personal information. We do not rent, trade, or monetize it.

4. We do not share information outside the organization

We do not share, disclose, sell, or transfer your information to anyone outside The Satanic Temple. Ever. That includes advertisers, data brokers, partner organizations, researchers, and other third parties. There is no marketing list, no data-sharing program, and no exception for convenience.

Access inside TST is limited to personnel and authorized volunteers who need the information to perform their roles. Internal access is role-based. Curiosity is not a reason to see your data.

Sign-in may use a provider you already have, such as Google. That is a login handshake you initiate. It is not TST handing your Service records, membership data, or activity on devilops.org to those companies or to anyone else.

5. Cookies and sessions

The Service uses cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, protect against fraud, and remember essential preferences. You can control cookies in your browser, but disabling them may prevent login or other core functions from working.

6. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our practices.

7. Security

We take extreme measures to protect privacy and security. The Service is built and operated on the assumption that member and operational data must stay inside the organization. We use layered administrative, technical, and organizational controls, including restricted access, encryption in transit, least-privilege roles, monitoring for unauthorized access, and operational practices designed to keep data private even from people inside TST who have no need to see it.

Protecting this data is a standing priority, not a checklist item. If you believe there has been unauthorized access, contact us immediately at [email protected].

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

9. Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also disconnect third-party login in your provider account settings.

10. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
