These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of The Satanic Temple System Portal at devilops.org and related applications (the “Service”) operated by The Satanic Temple (“TST,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Satanic Temple System Portal is an internal operations application for Access is granted at TST’s discretion and may be limited by role. The Service is provided for organizational operations and related programs, not as a public social network or a substitute for professional, legal, or medical advice.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be authorized by TST to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials and linked accounts secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify TST promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
• We may suspend or revoke access at any time, including if you are no longer authorized or if you violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of TST policies
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or excessive automated requests
• Share confidential TST information obtained through the Service with anyone outside the organization
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use another person’s account without permission

4. Sign-in providers

You may sign in with a provider you already use, such as Google. That login is between you and that provider. TST does not share your Service data, membership records, or activity on devilops.org with those companies or with anyone else outside the organization.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by TST or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms. TST names, logos, and marks may not be used without prior written permission except as otherwise allowed by law.

6. User content

If you submit content through the Service (for example form responses or files), you grant TST a non-exclusive license to use that content as needed to operate the Service and carry out related organizational purposes. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content.

7. Privacy and confidentiality

TST does not share information from the Service with anyone outside the organization. We take extreme measures to protect data privacy and security. Collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy and agree not to disclose other users’ information or confidential organizational data outside TST.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TST DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TST AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND VOLUNTEERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. TST’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TST and its personnel from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes and termination

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will update the “Last updated” date when Terms change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue the Service or your access without notice.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Massachusetts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
